PRIMER EPA-W is a water borne emulsion of chlorinated synthetic polymers which produce a good adhesivity to polyolefins (PP, PE, PET, EPDM, etc.).
PRIMER EPA-W can be used as primer for adhesive tapes with rubber adhesive. It must be applied on plastic films like PP, PE, PET (corona treated); also on PVC, PU foams, etc.

Stir well before use. The product can be diluted with water till 1-2%. It is recommended to add a special polyisocyanate suitable for water emulsions (as CURING AGENT W4) before application to improve its performance, if the rubber adhesive will not be crosslinked afterwards.
Standard coating methods as Mayer-bar, rotogravure, air knife are recommended. Apply approx. 5 ÷ 7 g (wet)/sqm on corona treated films; dry perfectly and then coat with the rubber adhesive.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Product must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
