RELEASE W 45 GB1 is a water-borne release agent based on acrylic polymers containing special releasing agents.
RELEASE W 45 GB1 has been designed as a release agent for porous substrates, like Kraft paper, and it imparts excellent release and unwinding properties. It is recommended for hot-melt and solvent based adhesives.

The quantity to apply depends upon the substrate porosity, suggested from 1 to 3 g dry/sqm.
Coating methods: Mayer bar, Reverse Roll, Roto gravure, Air knife.
It can be either thickened (acrylic thickeners) or diluted (water).
It is advised to heat the product for a few seconds at 150°C in order to achieve the highest releasing properties (there is a self-curing process).
Ageing behaviour is excellent.
The product is supplied in iron drums (200 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Keep material at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C, avoid direct sunlight/freezing.
Stir the product for 10 - 15 minutes before use.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
